Our Verdict:
The 20-inch stride of the Sole E35 Elliptical, as well as its high gear ratio make it probably the most popular elliptical model in the under $1500 category. Often rated as a Best Buy, the Sole E35 Elliptical can take on the larger user with its 20-inch stride and 375-lb maximum weight capacity... something the standard home trainer does not provide. You can push for maximum workouts in this machine as it performs nearly as well as the more expensive gym quality ellipticals. The foot pedals with their 2-degree inward slope are definitely outstanding... so is the power incline which allows a variety of exercise routines. The Sole E35 gives a natural feel as you workout and it is definitely recommended for its features, durability and quality. For the price, you get gym-type equipment with this right in your home! |

Customer Feedback-
"Once I got the machine put together, there was no comparison -- I tried out a few different Ellipticals in the $800 - $1,500 range, and the E35, with its power incline (the power incline works great), 25lb flywheel, 350lb maximum weight capacity, and silky-smooth movement are far and away more than you're going to get with any other machine in this price range" - Actual User Review - Amazon.com "Very quiet, smooth. Although it didn't eliminate the tingle-toes I get from working out on an elliptical, I believe Sole has improved the pedal angle so that tingle-toes are less prevalent. I was sure I'd made a good purchase.." - Actual User Review - Amazon.com "At the price Amazon is asking for this elliptical, you'll be hard pressed to find more bang for the buck. The E35 enjoys a number of features not present on other elliptical trainers in this price range, including a very long 20" stride length (a tad short for my lanky 6'2" build, but great for my 5'8" wife), adjustable pedals, wireless heart monitoring, power incline, and a heavy 25 # flywheel." - Actual User Review - Amazon.com "I tried my best to get something less than $1000 for an elliptical. This is worth the $300 difference having the roller from the foot plate is what makes the difference. It does feel better compared to rollers directly closer to the foot plate." - Actual User Review - Amazon.com |
